“”the devil is in the detail son, you should have known that” , first time listening this statement from smallville tivi series. The scene si a conversation between Lex Luther and Lionel Luthor. These statement sounds very familiar right ? And this statement had just remind me about failures I found in some times of my writings.
Yesterday I happen to blogwalk and found the series written by mr achoey and miss ratu. There we can see clearly the role of details in building and giving ’soul’ to a writing.
Writing fictions thus need a deeper research, comprising the research of the transport, the whether of the location, the sceenery, the cultures of the area, etc. These details must be managed orderly to create a life picture of the story.
Regarding with details as devil, some couple of moments ago she told me about her brand new marriage life. It is said that all these details had really gone her crazy. Starting form little things about the ashtray, the stubs, messy newpapers, bla bla bla. Well ok, marriage is not just about detail right ? perhaps we should see it in a bigger picture.
But back into the focus of our conversation , the details really is the devil

ya ya ya sesuatu yang detail plus annoying yang dibiarkan tanpa diperbaiki lama2 akan menjadi besar dan meruntuhkan bangunan perkawinan and thats the point of devil in the marriage *sok banget gw ya*

aku setuju tuh detail sangat menentukan… aku ngalamin sendiri… tapi aku pernah baca kumpulan cerpennya Melly Guslow … dan ternyata dia sama sekali ga bercerita dengan detail2 tapi ga tau knapa kita sbg pembaca bisa tuh nerimanya kekeke
ah ga tau juga itu jalan pikiran para seniman…
